I am in the process of formulating a skin lotion especially for men's sensitive areas.
Most of the formulae I have found appear to be of natural ingredients that require refrigeration, and short shelf life.

Any info, or guidance will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Hoffie.

'Sensitive areas', huh? What on the face? (sorry couldn't help that Laughing )

hmm I think you need to elaborate. What do you want the lotion to do?

OK! What is meant by 'sensitive areas'?

A few sportsmen asked me about any creams/lotions that would allevaite 'jock itch', or as one wit described it 'bollock burn'.
So, the lotion would be used in the lower abdomen, or upper-inner thigh. Scrotum might be a better description.

I would think that a Calendula cream (think nappy rash cream even) would work for that... calendula is very soothing for chaffing and irritation and I would think it would not, um, burn senstive bits (just dont add menthol Wink )

You can get some good ones from Weleda and Jurlique if you are having trouble tweaking a formula.

If you are after something to use also while playing sport or something (that would prevent it) there is an Aussie product called "papaw ointment" (it is like a salve) that is EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT for this.
