or just where I think I need to? When can I expect results? I have a little frown line forming between my eyebrows. The only one one my face! It is vertical and right in the middle of my brows! It just started coming last week. I am really considering getting botox. Just for that one line. I talked to a receptionist at a docs office and she said it would be $150 for consult, $600 for whole face and $350 for one area. She said if I had the botox done that same day, the doc may remove the consult fee. $350 is a lot to me to just have one fine line done. Does anyone agree? I'm certain at the consult, he would try to talk me into having different areas done. My face looks great, it's just I'm noticing that little line and I don't feel good about it.
About the ADCE I just read some horror dtories about drooping and sagging that I really hope are not true!! I just bought the ADCE!
TIA

One more question, should I be putting it on my neck too?

Erin, I use ACDE on my entire face and neck (coz I'm much older than you ). I'm on my 2nd order of the product and for the past week I've not been using it as I'm travelling and didn't pack it. So far, I've not noticed any sagging or deterioration of my skin (I'm using LeMer in the meantime).
Frankly I think $350 for one treatment of Botox is a rip off!! I had a Boxtox treatment on my "11's" about a year ago and it cost me $200 Cdn. Since the effects wore off after a few months, I've just been taping it at night (when I remember) and cumulatively, it basically diminishes the lines and costs nothing!

Thanks Anya!
I don't see my line now I know I must sound so superficial! I apologize...but this is a skincare board. I've read that you are supposed to put ADCE on areas with wrinkles or on whole face. Maybe I shouldn't put it on my whole face. I'll just put it where my expression lines will be someday(soon). Has ADCE given you a dramatic result? Like some of the before and after photos on the Janson-Beckett website? What is taping, and how do I do it?
TIA! |

Hi Erin
You're absolutely doing the right thing while you're still young - prevention is the name of the game. I've been pretty good about skin care all my life, but nowadays there are much more products out there all professing to be "the one". In my case I use Skin Prep and ACDE all over my face and neck and have been very pleased with the results over what I'd used in the past. These products have improved the texture and have had a noticeable firming effect on my skin, not to mention it just feels 'thicker'.
I use low tack adhesive tape on my "11's" - check out surgeon's tape at your local drug store. I put it on at bedtime - thank goodness I live alone
HTH
