La Mer Crème de la Mer
Very good moisturizer, but not good at preventing aging, according to many people's comments of the product. I used this product first when I was in twenties, and got serious acne. After a decay when my skin becomes dries, I no longer have acne problems. So if you have a oily skin, La mer may not be a good choice. |

This cream has it miracle on soothing the skin. It has little effect on improving skin condition over long term period. There was one time I got a bad skin abrasion on my knee which was hurting so bad. I put on la mer cream and it stopped the pain in 10 minutes. I was worried about it containing steroid but luckily it does not.
I have been using it intermittently for three years now. I only use this cream when my skin is sensitive, red, or when the weather is very cold and dry. I do find it thicken the skin a bit. |

I have used this cream for a little while as well as the soft cream. I do not feel that this cream does any thing good to my skin therefore it is very over priced. It is very greasy and heavy.
Forgot about the soft cream. this cream is much easier to apply than the original one. Does not see the difference between the soft cream and the original cream on my face. Both consumes really fast, you need a lot each time. In contrast, Valmont products last longer. |

I kind of agree with both comments above. Lamer cannot do magic. My general feeling is that it is very good for dry and sensitive skin, since it is greasy and oily. However, it can cause serious break out, if you have acne-prone skin.
I actually do not recommend the product to very young people. |

I have used only a small sample of the product.
Though the Lamer cream is not cheap, still much cheaper than Valmont, my feeling is that the product's performance and price ratio is not bad. The cream can last pretty long given its greasy texture. A small amount can cover the entire face. |

I used about 10oz cream de la mer already. I love it so much. However, it can not be absorbed after I pregnant. So I switch to Chantecaille |

My mom loves this cream better than La Prairie caviar cream. She is 58 and looks like she is in 40's |

I believe you look much younger than your age also. Genes are a lot more influential than skincare products in slowing down aging, especially if one can look more than 10 years younger than her age. |

Isn't it amazing how your skin changed after you have given birth!
I have never given birth but I agree with you, it "sits" on my skin. I only use it when I go up to the snow. |

i have used three jars, all gel version.
my personal experience is that is can make your skin look really radiant, and moisturised...at least for the day..
but i do not use it everyday and hard to tell the long term effect.. |

interesting..why do you feel chantecalle is more good?
I have only the bio lifting mask and to be honest, I find it unable to justify the price.. |
