This is nice! And it's not very typical of me to find something I like and stick to it like my life depends on it. But that's what I have done with the Phytomer Face Dew. I love it, and for a long time I didn't try anything else because I was smitted by it (well - that's a bit of an exaggeration but you get the idea  ).
Because I've been rather disorganised (guilty as charged!) I forgot to stock up on the Face Dew and I ran out. Not having any toner (and being addicted to that step in my beauty routine) I had no choice but to rummage through my samples and see what toner goodies were hidden in my bathroom.
I found two Phytomer Eau Marine Lotion samples and started using them.... This is good stuff!!!
It's different to the Face Dew toner, which seems to have a calming/soothing effect. I find that the Eau Marine is quite refreshing and it has a faint scent that reminds me a bit of my grandpa's cologne (I mean that in a good way! It kinda brings me back to my childhood for a split second...). I guess the scent may be part of the reason why i find it refreshing. I can see why the description says that it's good for as an after-shave tonic. I think guys would not have a problem using this because it doesn't smell girly at all. Plus it has no alcohol so it shouldn't sting at all.
Anyways, as you have gathered, I really like this and will be buying the full size of this instead of the Face Dew. I still love my Face Dew and will come back to it probably after I use up a bottle of the Eau Marin.

ps. Like the Face Dew this can double as an eye makeup remover (but this apparently handle waterproof makeup too). I don't wear waterproof mascara much but I used it today to remove my normal Clarins mascara and it did a great job without tugging or pulling. |
