I've been using Sephora's eye makeup remover, and I love the smell and texture, but it's been making the skin around my eyes sting recently, so I need to change. I prefer very watery textured makeup removers--- I don't like the oily ones AT ALL. (For the record, Lancome's Bi-facil one is waaaay too oily for me.) So, does anyone use a remover that is good for sensitive skin and not oily? TIA! |

I would recommend Doux Me Milk Cleanser for sensitive/dry skin. It has a lotion like texture. I bought this to use as a cleanser and did not like it at all as a cleanser but found it to be great at removing eye makeup. I used it for a while but since I am using Shiseido Cleansing Oil as a prewash I find that I do not need to use any specific eye makeup remover. I have sensitive skin and except for a few times when my skin was being really sensitive have never had a problem with the cleanser causing any irritation even in my eyes.
Here's a link to the Doux Me product:http://60gp.ovh.net/~stepcode/index.php?id=190
BTW I think that the Lancome Bi-facil is way to oily but do not mind the Shiseido Cleansing Oil at all, it just feels different and is one of the few cleansers that has NEVER irritated my skin. |

Yonka Lait Nettoyant Cleansing Milk is not oily at all and suitable for sensitive eyes too. |

Yup, Almay. I use to oil-free remover pads, though. |

I love the one from Bare Escentuals and Ultima II makes one that I absolutely ADORE! Let me see if I can find the exact names of them...stay tuned!
ETA - Here’s the info I posted about them in the past:

I've tried a lot of them and my all-time fave is the Ultima II eye makeup remover because it's completely non-oily and somehow it just seems to dissolve the eye makeup like magic (no rubbing). Unfortunately, it's not very effective in removing waterproof eye makeup. Now I'm partial to the new Bare Escentuals eye makeup remover (can't recall the exact name). The stuff is half blue/half clear and you shake it up to activate/mix the layers. It's gentle and removes even stubbon waterproof eye makeup. |
If you want an eye makeup remover that is truly water-like with absolutely NO oil you should really give the “Ultima II Eye Makeup Remover” a whirl -- that stuff looks and feels like water, but it dissolves the eye makeup like magic (I wish I knew what the magic ingredient was!). I'm not sure if they have an ULTA boutique in Burnet, but there's one in Anderson Mill (across from Lakeline Mall) and they carry the Ultima II products, or you should be able to order it from the Ulta website, iffen you want to give it a go....
I like the one by Bare Escentuals for about $15USD, although I can’t recall the name. In the bottle, there’s a layer of blue liquid and a layer of clear liquid and you shake it to “activate” it. But my all-time fave oil-free makeup remover is from Ultima II (completely clear liquid) at $13.99USD for 3.6 ounces. |
Okay, here’s the skinny on the BE eye makeup remover: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/bare-escentuals-bareeyes-p_2172.htm |
