So I spent some quality time with a dental hygienist today , and without fail, all the poking, prodding, scraping, and scrubbing with my mouth wide open for an hour caused me to look less than "fresh" when I left... including a weird bout of dark undereye circles!? My guess is that it was a result of the trauma to my face. Naturally, I left the house without a stitch of makeup in my purse and I just could NOT go back to work looking like the living dead, so I bopped to OSCO on the way back and quickly picked up the easiest thing I could find - which was Physician's Formula Gentle Cream Concealer in Yellow. I have the liquid version at home so even if my rush, I thought... m, perfect chance for a product comparison.
Well, I gotta say, for $5, it was money well spent. A light, quick application really worked well to minimize the blue under my eyes. Much better than the liquid. But it's definitely a concealer that requires you to be well moisturized before application. It has a thickness that could definitely creep into your fine lines, which I did notice less with the liquid.
If for no other purpose, this is a good product for the purse for quick touch-ups. Nice find, IMO. |

I have read that the Physicians Formula Concealers can be quite drying, I have tried the duo green/light and was not overly impressed.
The powders however I love |

I like the Physicians Formula concealers in the stick forms. I've got both the yellow and green ones. They're not dry and are easy to blend. The yellow works well on eye circles and dark marks while the green is good for redness. |
