for those of you keeping track, i said i'd get back to you about IS Clinical and relative humidity from my travels. keep in mind that this *my* skin only -- and, after taking more than eight months to adapt to paris after living in l.a., i truly believe part of this is what your skin is used to....
so first off, paris. relatively high humidity. my face looooooved IS Clinical and i saw almost immediate results.
then los angeles, relatively low humidity. i noticed very little results. my skin usually loves going back, but not this time. i was very stupid on the plane over (wore Midnight Secret for 24 hours) and my face broke out like crazy. ISC did nothing to remedy or repair it. luckily, Mac_Crisis (thank you!) had sent me some goodies (as well as a few of my own tricks) which fixed the situation.
las vegas, no humidity. nada. nothing. i might of well just chucked it in the bin for all the difference it was making. (if it hadn't cost so much money, i might have. i was very discouraged!)
maui, humidity again, but of a different sort. started to notice results again, but nothing stunning. then again, i was slathering on SPF like crazy all the time.
back to l.a. eh, so-so again, but a bit better. (ordered Firming Complex in frustration, but there was a snaffo in delivery.) my mother even complimented me on my skin, but i think that may be more her vanity and eyesight.
now back to paris (after doing nothing unusual on the flight -- i learned my lesson!). IS Clinical is working like a charm and i'm in love again. just one night and i could tell the difference. i'm still awaiting the Firming Complex, but don't feel nearly so desperate any more.
so, perhaps, humidity does affect its efficacy.... i've just never noticed any other products to have the profoundly different reactions on my skin whilst traveling to different climes. |

Thanks for the update. I was looking forward to this. So it sounds like the ISC did not work for you in the desert (Las Vegas).
I am going to be starting Proheal soon and will see how it works for me. I won't be doing any other ISC products though so I won't be able to give an exact comparison. I wonder if living in the desert as opposed to just visiting will make any difference? I guess I will find out! |

Theresa,
i think the Pro-Heal actually worked kind of okay in the desert. i was much more disappointed with the lack of performance of the Active Serum really. i think you'll be happy with the Pro-Heal, especially as that's the climate you're used to. still, would love an update from you once you've started using it. |
