Hi!
I purchased a sample back of the Janson Beckett top products including Alpha Derma CE, Okusil, Skin Prep, etc.
When I put the ADCE on I can feel it relax my muscles and it feels really really weird... It seems to last about 5 or 6 hours and it actually gave me a headache.
I decided to give myself a day off and I will try it again tomorrow and see if I get a headache again.
I wanted to use this once a day, if I can get used to it, as opposed to 2 X a day...
Did anyone who uses this get the same funny feeling? and if so did you get used to it or did it go away after a while?
I can see that using it would lessen the expression lines by lessening the expressions and I would really like this to work, but I do not know if I can get used to that weird feeling.
Thanks for your help! |

When I first tried it I was very aware that it was much harder for me to frown. My forehead just didn't want to do it. I think you just get used to that feeling after a while.
I never experienced any headaches though I know that Majorb did. They lasted for a few days and then went away. Still, be careful when trying this and stop if they continue. |

Bosoxy and Mabsy - this is interesting because I did not feel any muscle relaxation after applying ADCE but feel a substantial relaxation after applying Relax-a-Line. Conversely, while 2 weeks of ADCE made by forehead lines and 11 less noticeable, 2 weeks of Relax-a-Line hasn't done this....
I don't want to hijack this thread and will post separately for others' experiences, but isn't it interesting how we all react so differently to these topical alternatives? |

Yes, Mabsy's right - the ACDE and also PSF's BrowTox gave me sinusy/migrainey headaches for a couple of days or so. Thankfully, they then stopped. |

Thank you for posting about this.
I decided to take a couple of days off and I will try again tomorrow or Monday and see what happens.
LandB, do not worry about hijacking the thread, lmao! It is good to be able to compare the different reactions to similar type products to see which one may be the best for our individual needs.
For those of you who use ADCE or similar product, how many times a day do you apply it? |

I'm on my 2nd bottle of Skin Prep and ACDE and apply both in the a.m. and p.m. I've not noticed any muscle relaxation, but the products are fantastic and are doing wonders for my skin tone, texture and firmness. No headaches either

I have used it since it came out & would prefer to never be without it. It has really helped my skin tone & has firmed as much as a topical product can. I need to be careful to keep it away from my eyes - no closer than my cheekbone - but that's because it must run in the valleys to my eyeballs & boy does it irritate them. As far as the relaxing part - I have not got that result from any ah3 product. I guess my determination to frown is too fierce and no match for any serum or cream! |
