I was wondering, what is everyone using to take care of the lip area? I have seen product on the market with vitamin C and retinal, so are those effective on lips? Personally I have used Citylips before, thought it did great, except it was fairly temporary. I have also been putting on blistex with SPF often to protect (do lips need an SPF?). |

Sorry one more quick question, can I use a homemade vitamin C serum say mixed with vasaline or HA on the lips? |

I'd be interested in what other people have to say as well.
As for SPF ... yes, I believe it is important for your lips as well. I think lips can burn just like the rest of the skin.
I've been using Dermalogica Powerfirm Eye & Lip which I THINK might be easing some of the fine lines I had started developing around my lips. I'd love to find a product that did a really good job of that though. Otherwise I use Chapstick. I did buy the Clinique Repairwear Lip Treatment and I don't think it did a thing ... I think it's just a really expensive version of Chapstick! |

I saw one with retinal by Pevonia Botanica and one with vitamin C by Jan Marini Skin Research. Has anyone heard about these? So far I just use blistex with SPF, but I would like to plump up (HA pills don't work for me) and reduce fine lines. |
