I am currently a couple of weeks into the Obagi regimine and have seen tremendous results! I have decided to forgoe foundation while I am using Obagi (which I think is a big help).
About twice a week, I peel. For the rest of the week, I feel slightly greasy due to the exfoderm forte. I will not even try to wear any foundation over peeled skin (made that mistake and looked ridiculous! ) but sometimes I need to look a little "nicer" and if I am having a greasy day, I could probably get away with wearing a foundation.
So, long story short. . . can anyone recommend a foundation I could wear over the exfoderm forte when I feel a tad greasy?
Thanks! |

Have you tried a mineral foundation? Or, perhaps, just a powder? That would cut the greasies. |

GreenTurtle, I was experimenting with the same!
I'm almost 2 weeks into it and while I love the results, I look like a tomato!
Liquid foundation definelty looks AWEFUL! But I've used both Bare Minerals foundation and a regular powder and both are fine. I'm still red through them, but it helps me not look red AND greasy!
Let me know how you go with it all. So far, I'm very happy. SKin is already silky smooth and I can see a lot of impuritites coming to the surface (that will hopefully go away!)

Hi,
I used Obagi for a couple years and wore makeup everyday. The only thing that worked well for me was mineral makeup. Instead of moisturizer under it I used exfoderm and let it sit for a couple minutes before applying my makeup. I also used the Jane iredale Hydrating spritz to set it after and my makeup always looked natural.
