Don't know if I'm going about this forum properly, but thought I'd post my thoughts on the above! I'm a beauty therapist, and had used id loose mineral foundation for the past few years. It's a fab texture and gives as much or as little coverage as required. Colours are very easily mixed and the finish is very natural, the minerals last all day.
I didn't want to phone Canada from Ireland, so asked advice as to other brands on sale at EDS.
I finally went for True Cosmetics, but found that the minerals are not nearly as well ground down as the id version. They're also harder to pick up on the brush, and you don't feel that you're getting the same coverage as more minerals are needed per application,. The True Cosmetics minerals are also slightly chalkier than the id. However, having said that, I found that I still got a nice finish (just a little more effort required), and the colour stayed true.
Hope that's of interest to someone out there!
I'd still go back to id minerals next time[/img] |

Thank you for the comparison! I used to use bare minerals but moved on the Jane Iredale simply because I prefer something pressed and also less shiny.
Did you ever notice a pearly type finish with the bare minderals? That's what bothered me most - other than that is was great |
