Good Morning All!
My hair is really damaged from over processing. I'm sure that a shower filter would be beneficial for all skin and hair, but I am wondering if anyone has used one and had it noticeably improve the condition of damaged hair.
I am on a huge budget (I'm on my way to being debt free ), so I can't spend any money on beauty stuff right now unless there is a real payoff.
Also, are there any recommendations for brand, and where do I shop for them?
Thanks Experts!

Hi Bee,
I have a shower filter and have used the same brand for over ten years. I think it makes a HUGE difference in my hair and skin.
I have bleached or colored my hair every 6-8 weeks since forever and I always get compliments on how healthy my hair is. I also take really good care of it along with the right products and good diet but the water filter is a must for me. I couldn't live without it.
The one I buy is really high quality and it's just under $62. with free shipping. Here's the link where I purchase mine. http://www.fernsnutrition.com/aquasana_shower_filter.html
I think once you use a a good shower filter, you'll have a hard time getting into a shower without one. Without filtration you just feel coated and gross from all the junk that's in the water supply. You'll wonder how you ever survived without one. HTH |

I don't have one (but seriously thinking of getting one). On another board they rave about having a shower filter. I also read an article by Dr. Weil (was it yesterday?)about shower filters and he was in favor of them. |
