My question in full is: is MD Formulations Total Protector 30 the same as MD Formulations Mens Total Protector 30?

The ingredient list looks similar if not exactly the same...Can somebody clarify this?

Also, is the MD Formulations Total Protector 30 generally considered a good every-day facial sunscreen moisturizer? What is the general consensus?

TIA!

I really like this brand of sunscreen, I have used heaps of others and they all caused greasiness, a white pasty face, NOT to mention breakouts and *horror* MILIA (which don't go away for ages and ages, maybe never). I'm not advertising for MD formulations, but honestly speaking, it's the only sunscreen that has worked for me so far.

Despite the richness and moisturising properties of the cream, it hasn't broken me out at all, and I have the most acne-prone (oily), and most sensitive skin you'd ever know. Since I've started using skincare 5 years ago, I have only found one range or skincare and one type of sunblock (MD formulations) that has suited my skin. All the rest, (even Neostrata) has broken me out or irritated me. (in the form of bumps, lumps or dry patches).

To answer your question about using it as a moisturiser, I've found that it works quite well for me, even in winter. In summer, you may find it a little heavy, but what I do is I pat on some jurlique rose silk dust after the sunscreen application, and bingo, you've got the nice, clean matte look! Smile
