I'm suprised, my Sephora gives out samples of practically everything. They have little lipbalm size jars on the counter, but hide the lids. The products you can sample usually have a try me sticker on them. |

95% of the time I got the samples I asked for. And once I got 5 different Cosmedicine samples w/very generous amount. Most of them gave me enough for at least 3~5 uses depends on the product. Only once, I covered 1/2 of my face with Dr. H Rej. Mask and %&*@^ for about a min. But they rarely tossed in any sample on the check out stand, it only happend to me once. |

I think in the sephora stores, lots of the employees would rather keep the samples to themselves rather than give them out to customers. 99% of the time i have to ask for samples instead of them generously offering samples. I love EDS because they give so many samples, they are so generous
I remember one time at a store, I was interested in a skincare line but wanted to sample it first before buying, but the employee told me that she will give me free samples only if I buy a product from them!! Samples are supposed to be free!! |

Yeah, I was told they only really do it for online purchases.
What does EDS give out? |

I definitely feel it's like pulling teeth sometimes to get all the samples I want when I go to sephora. But EDS---- WOW!!! They are one of the most generous companies I have ever dealt with, and they send me samples of all the items I want, and some I didn't even request but that really suit me. Thank you, EDS!!! |

EDS gives out at least 3 samples with every purchase you make. I ordered Dr. Hauschka products and recieved 4 samples of other Dr. Hauschka products. Its great that they give samples so their customer's can try other products out that they have been wondering about. And if they like the product, they'll most likely purchase it next time. |

Sephora is good for samples. You just have to ask them. That was how I sampled Juice Beauty. |

Didn't Sephora change their policy last year and now at their stores, you can get samples of most things just by asking? |

She was probably working on commission. With that attitude, I would have purchased elsewhere. |

Well I just got back from Sephora and yes IF you ask, they do give you about anything. I was there to buy the Ojon hair treatment and asked for samples of the hydrating shampoo and cond and they said they were out but made up some samples right there for me. Also got some MDskincare lift and lighten eyecream-anyone use that?
I am a "Beauty Insider" and since it was my b-day last week, they gave me a 6 oz Philosophy shower gel. So I was wrong. But you DO have to ask. I guess I just never asked. |
