Just a quick question about this product. Is it a serum which you pump out and apply with your hands or is it a spray.
Also if anyone has used it i would love to hear what you think.
Thanks

I haven't used it yet, but I just ordered it from EDS, so I'll definitely post after I try it! |

It is a watery spray. I've used it for a year now (on my 3rd bottle) and I love it. I was skeptical at first but it clears redness and just makes my skin look better. When I ran out the first time I didn't get it back for a month and my skin just didn't look as good. It also helps with pimples. |

Hi, it is a spray, also comes in a new 2 ounce size. I really love this product, one of my fav's. |

I prefer to spray mine into my palm and then pat over the face, spraying onto the face seems to waste a lot and it is hard to get even coverage. |

Thanks for the replies. I don't really want it in a spray bottle as i have just started using caudalie beauty elixir and grape water and don't know if i want another spray as well it would have been better if it was a serum to apply with your fingers. |

I just ordered a bottle. It's hard to believe such a simple concept could be so helpful to the skin. I hope I love it too! |

Hi Sharky,
I am curious about your comment on this product helping with redness. What kind of redness did you have that this serum helped with?
thanks! |

This has helped with many types of "redness". Sometime I overdo it with the glycolic. This heals things in 2 days. Also scratches and mysterious red bumps I've gotten from time to time seem to go away faster with the O2 serum. I think it is very healing so I use it more often when I've upset my skin in some way.
I've gone without it for 2 three week periods (have been using it since it came out) and my skin just didn't look as good (less even color, my skin is very light so every little irritation shows). I think it has also helps reduce my caps (been using a Derma E product over O2 serum and have gotten rid of about half the caps and reduced the appearance of the remaining ones. |

Hey!
Well, this is a product I’ve been wanting to try for a long time, and now I definitely will! I’ve read enough good reviews of the product here to trust that it’s worth the money…but what finally got me off the fence and reaching for my credit card is the amazing way this stuff worked to help me heal a wound that nothing else seemed to be helping with. I won’t go into raging TMI mode with you here and gross everyone out. But the long and the short of it was I had some recent surgery and while the doc said everything was normal, it was just not healing fast enough for my liking (scab just wouldn’t completely dry up, etc.). SO…I had a sample of the O2 Serum and thought, “Oxygen is what heals the skin (hence the O2 facials, and people going into oxygen chambers to heal serious wounds, burns, etc.)…so why not put this stuff on it?” So, several times yesterday I spritzed it on the affected area…and today, it’s completely dried up and the skin around it is nice and healthy looking (not agitated like it was before). I’m stunned that in ONE day this stuff did more than all the hydrogen peroxide and anti-bacterial ointments that I had been using put together!
Sorry if this was an icky post…but I just wanted to let everyone know that I found this product to be extremely healing. I’m getting more so I can continue using it on my surgical area, but I can’t WAIT to see what it does for my face!

What a great testimony! This O2 serum has been on my "maybe" list for a little while. Just moved it to my "gotta try" list! Like Sharky, I tend to get carried away with glycolic, and microderm at times, and this would be very nice to have on hand. I'm going to place an EDS order this week (need vit C serum)....I may ask for a sample of the O2 to try before I purchase full size.
I'm happy to hear that you found something that healed your skin. (It sounds like it was painful!) Hope you're doing alright. Thank you for sharing this. |

Thanks, Debra...glad you didn't mind my posting this (I almost didn't because I didn't want anyone to be grossed out!). Fortunately, I've been feeling physically fine of late, it was really just more of a huge annoyance that I couldn’t get this stupid wound to dry up and stop looking so disgusting! But I just placed an order for the O2 Serum here on EDS...hopefully my sample will tide me over 'til it gets here! I think it will...I've only been using one teeny spritz at a time and that's been enough.
I would definitely request a sample of the serum...once you try it, I think you'll be in love!

How long does a 1oz bottle usually, last? I'm just afraid that as a spray, I won't be able to control how much I use. TIA |

I've been using a sample and like Sharky I've found it helps with redness and seems to make budding pimples go away faster. With my little sample bottle, I spray the O2 onto my palm, then spread with my fingers.
My question is that recently I've noticed the palm-side of my hands to be quite rough with dry skin, and I'm wondering whether it's from the O2 serum. Has anyone noticed a similar effect? |

I spray it on my face and use my fingers to spread it. If you spray to close it will drip off but I've got it down now. It hasn't caused a problem with my hands.
A 2 oz spray lasts me over 4 months. I use it twice a day. |

Earlier someone mentioned using hydrogen peroxide for some type of tissue damage. Please, Please, Please do not do this. Hydrogen Peroxide kills bacteria by leaching the oxygen out of the cells-rembember the bubbling. Guess what?... like antibiotics it is non-discriminating. Hydrogen peroxide leaches the oxygen out of your own cells and actually slows healing, possibly increasing the amount of scar tissue.
I know alot of people swear by it, but it is not always a good thing. It does make a good mouth rinse for canker sores and such, but it is not good for scrapes, cuts and other types of skin injuries. I dont want to come across as a bossy know it all, but just want to pass the information on. |

Hi Elfie!
Thanks for the info...I really appreciate it! Fortunately, I didn't go too crazy with the hydrogen peroxide. The bubbly mess was just too gross, so I gave up using it after a few days...probably a good thing now that I read this!

I remember my mum had to squirt hydrogen peroxide onto an ulcer my cat developed after a fight. After that I dont think I could use it on my face. |

I use this serum/spray (seems wierd calling it serum) but I am not sure it is doing anything for me.
For some unknown reason I woke up with spots a couple of mornings ago (chin and forehead) and I have been using this twice a day since then but no change. I also (for some bizarre reason) have developed a HUGE lump behind one earlobe (which hubby says has a little white center.. ewwwww) so after wiping with alcohol I used this serum again (twice) and it might have gone down a tad (well, additional swelling has gone) but I still have a lump the size of a fingertip. |

DH once had something that looked like a giant whitehead behind his ear. I'm tempted to say it was the size of an eraser but I'm sure it wasn't that big. Maybe the size of 3 pinheads? It didn't hurt but I got him to agree to let me try an extraction. A lot of white gunk came out, sebum? and it was a lot flatter. The next day I tried again, more came out but none after that and it's never reoccurred. If your lump doesn't hurt and isn't red or tender perhaps it's the same thing? Just to be on the safe side a visit to the doctor might be a good idea.
ETA: I've been using the O2 spray and find it helps with redness and tender skin. It may be my imagination but I think it's helped some budding pimples go away overnight too. |

Well, my lump is not getting bigger and is not hurting now (perhaps it is a tad smaller) so Iguess that is a good sign. I am just dousing it with alcohol each evening. My husband says it just looks like a huge lump with a tiny white spot in the middle. Hopefully I wont have to make a doc trip. yuk. |
