Does anyone take these?
I used to follow a macrobiotic diet and it was supposed to help with lactic acid breakup but I can't remember or find any information on it.
I know it's a long shot...just asking! |

I don't know the science behind it, but umeboshi is supposed to be good for your stomach/digestion. Japanese people will eat it with "okayu" (rice porridge) when they have an upset stomach. The Chinese have a dried version that's eaten as a snack, but it helps when you're feeling nauseous. I eat it when I'm car sick. |

I LOVE them!
you have to not think of them as a "plum" because you will get a nasty shock. They are sour and salty not sweet.
I love them with rice, or I'll eat a couple on their own, but they're really quite strong.
I know nothing about the health benefits, etc. but I can tell you that they are YUMMY.
If you're in Vancouver I can tell you where to get them for cheap. |
