I bought the Active Serum and the Firming cream, and used the Firming over the Active, and, maybe I didn't do it right, but I didn't feel I got the results that others have. (Have bought and loved Superserum and Proheal.) I really wanted to love the combo, and wonder if I should give it another go? In the meantime, I've gone back to ACDE over Skin Prep, and IMO the results are better, for me anyway. But I feel a bit of a failure because there are RAVES about Active + Firming! My skin's in pretty good nick (I've got a lot of great tips here!): I use Dermalogica Microfoliant, Vit C, Avene sunscreen, Epidermx, and some other stuff (toners, masks) around these staples. It's the sagging around the jaw that I'd really like to tackle! So, what would you advise? Has anyone else gotten better firming from ADCE? Or do you think IS Clinical is the way to go? Thanks very much for your thoughts here. Smile

My recommendation would be to use what works for YOU. I used Janson Beckett line for over two years and the results were more than I could have expected (especially firming). I did try several samples of IS Clinical and purchased the full size Firming Complex. I found the IS Clinical gave my skin a lovely texture and closed up the pores in my T zone. While using IS Clinical I also used ADCE during the day. For my particular issue I found ADCE did a better job. Right now I am not using either JB or ISC. I ran out and decided to try another line and see what happens. Besides I am in a spending mood. Wink Rolling Eyes

Hi Molly Smile

I used up my last little pump of ADCE a few weeks ago. I decided to give Decleor line a go. Anxious I know it is hard for you to believe that JB's cheerleader would even consider this. Laughing With my EDS discount I bought the whole antiaging line of Decleor. Either I will be raving or crying in a month. Pray

2006 has been a tough road for my family. Now that things are looking up I decided to make some changes and splurge on myself. I will keep you posted with my Decleor results. Wink

Okay, I already want the is clinical line, but have been hearing different things about the proheal, changing texture, causing breakouts etc. and thats the stuff I really want.
Winnie, I was wondering what samples you tried that closed up your t-zone pores?, seems thats my main concern, closely followed by texture and tone. Very Happy

I received several samples of the Active Serum and HydraCool. The combined use of both products in the evening did a nice job. I liked the Firming Complex better for my mature skin as it was moisturizing. ISC is a lovely line. Sometimes you can get a good buy on EBay for samples. If you place an EDS order you could see if they have samples of ISC.

Didi,
how long did you use the active and the firming? I noticed firming very rapidly but am just now noticing lines going away ( one happy camper here) and I am at end of week 3. So I guess I am trying to say with me the "real results are just starting". I felt a difference very soon and my skin texture was vastly improved very fast but the payoff is just starting. And I agree with Winnie, do what works for you.

Hi Winnie and MelissaMarie
Thanks very much for your replies - really helpful. I'm thinking that I do really like ACDE for firming, but I'm also thinking that maybe I should give the Firming Complex more time. I'll let you know how it goes, and will keep an eye out for Winnie's Decleor review. Smile

And I must add that although the Proheal looks and feels different somewhat, it can also be that my skin was going thru the adjustment period again after my IPL. I am using it now and I do love the glow and feel, the breakouts are just 1 or 2, very random and may not be related at all. So don't judge by me on the proheal call, just musing aloud on the change of it.
