I just bought AlphaDerma CE and skin prep and I was wondering, Does anyone know if it contains broad-spectrum UV protection, and, if so, what the SPF would be? Do I need to use additional sunscreen with this product? I think it contains some sun protection, but I'm not sure how much... If anyone can help me on this one, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks! |

If it did, it would say SPF and then a number.
I'm not sure, but I don't think it does.
Actually, I look for products that don't have s/s in them. It's usually only SPF 15 which isn't enough and it's also only UVB protection and most of us need UVA more than UVB. You also have to really glop on the product to get the SPF that's mentioned. To my mind, it's just a selling gimmick. |

From memory, ADCE has some SPF (equivalent to SPF15 I think) but it's not broad spectrum. HTH |
