Hi I have a mineral makeup company in Australia and as well as selling online, I go to markets and fairs around the place, which I just love. I really like meeting new people. Anyway, I am thinking of coming to the U.S.A. and travelling around to fairs and festivals there and selling my makeup, but it is a bit scary and daunting. I have been to the U.S.A. 4 times and I really love it, I have family in California and Seattle, but I would like to really see more of it and work my way around. Does anyone have any tips or ideas that would help? |

hey,
i'm on in the US, i'm in canada... but i have an idea for you...
in canada, toronto, there are large convention centers, that frequently exhibit shows... such as all about Women (selling products for hair, make up, skincare, anti aging, clothes, shoes, etc), or the International Anti Aging Show (all anti aging, and some hair/make up products), or the Natural Show (all natural food/makeup/ skincare/wine)
you get the idea.
i also know that there are special TRADE shows, only for professional addmittance... eg Interaational Esthetics Show (pros and registered student of the field only addmittance) and that show is a PRODUCT field day... everyone loads up on products to use for their own spa, work, freelance work, and personal use.

You better find out how to do this properly. I think you might have to say you are coming to America on holiday and not for business. You need a special visa for business, I believe. Perhaps check out the US consulate website or similar. Same goes for anyone traveling to another country. They may turn you away at the airport. |

dreamskin,
I am not sure but to avoid any problems you may need a work/business visa to sell your MMU in the states? You might not run into any issues but I would check it out first!
