So it's been about a month now since i have been using the divagoesgreen balance face starter kit and i wanted to write a review about it.
The starter kit which i bought included a face cream, face serum, face cleanser, face toner, face scrub and a face mask. The products came in small tester jars and bottles in 10 and 15ml sizes.
I have a oily and i am prone to acne sometimes, so i decided to choose the balance collection. DivaGoesGreen has 4 different skin line collections, from what i understood at least. One is the normal&combination skin then the oily&acne skin, sensitive skin and the last one is for dry,mature and sun damaged skin. I liked that each skin type had their own line of products.
So i was basically a bit hesitant about the cleanser first, because it felt weird cleansing your skin with oil. So i massaged the oil cleanser on my skin for about a minute, all over my face and eyes. Then i took a facial cloth which i had damped in hot water and just wiped off the cleanser from my face, i repeated that step about twice. Once i had removed the cleanser, my face felt so soft, i couldn't believe it.I was pleasantly surprised about how well it removed all my makeup as well as my mascara. My skin looked so radiant and just healthy and not oily at all!! The best part which i just absolutely loved was that my skin was so effin soft, i couldn't believe it!!!! The cleanser was so gentle but so effective at the same time! I was sold!
Then i followed the directions and used the toner, so i misted the toner on my face until it was, well moist..lol, and then i wiped it off with my damp cotton wool. The toner smelled so good, and the ingredients on the list were amazing all made from floral and fruits, the company only uses 100% natural ingredients, so there were no preservatives or alcohol or any nasty stuff. Then in the directions it said as a tip, that before you apply the face cream or serum, you should mist the toner again to moisten the skin, but this time without removing it.
So i went on with the face cream, may i say,when in the website it said, little goes a long way, they definitely weren't exaggerating. I only had to take like a half of a pea size to moisturize my skin. It was amazing, the little pot has lasted me for absolutely ever! It smells really good, and i love the fact that its 100% concentrated, so there isn't any water or aloe vera juice in there. So its all pure ingredients doing good on your skin!All in all, i felt like my skin has appeared to look much better, it feels so soft now, and just the complexion of my skin looks more even. The fact that i was scared of my face breaking out because of how concentrated the products are, were pointless, because the cream would beautifully just absorb in to my skin quickly and just make it feel so nourished! I LOVED!!!! The serum was also really lovely, because i could use it either at night times, or in the mornings. I would either use it just as it was or i would use it under my face cream before going to sleep!!!
And then about the facial mask and scrub. The products of those testers, will approximately lasts you for about 2 uses. Which was good, because it was enough for me to see how it worked for me! I loved the facial mask, because it was made from pure fruits and mud and clay. The mask smelled like pineapples!! It was so fabulous when i put the mask on my face it gave me this lovely tingly feeling, but at the same time it felt so soothing! This was a good product as well! Just washing it off was a bit messy, so i recommend either doing it in the shower, or then gently wiping it out with a facial cloth first!
The scrub, was really gentle but really made my skin glow. Apparently they use pearls to exfoliate your skin! I thought that was pretty cool!
So yeah, all in all, my experience with these products were really good, i enjoyed using all of them. Worth the money, they long a last time. So i will be absolutely going back for the actual sizes of the products, once i finish off all the testers!! It says on their website that a 60ml face cream can last me up for 5-8months...so not bad at all!
I would love to hear some reviews from other ppl who have used divagoesgreen products. Specially about their body products. I would like to purchase some of those!
