from reading all the raves on this forum im desperate to try IS Clinical for my horrid skin.. i suffer from congestion (whiteheads), acne, large pores, acne scars.. but on top of that eczema, sensitivity and redness...
as this line seems rather active i was wondering whether anyone who has sensitive skin has had success with this line and if so wat products..
from researching this forum alone im quite interested in the acitve serum, hydracool and proheal... but if anyone can give better recommendations
im 26 so dont have wrinkles but altho i have a very oily sheen to my face, the surface looks dehydrated and like theres a thick layer of uhnealthy skin on it no matter how much exfoliation i do...
btw i currently use md formulations which have helped but just dont seem to do anything anymore.. |

I'd email the ladies at one of the sites that they do the consulting (not sure if eds does or not) and see what they say. |

I'm pretty sure IS Clinical has some potent actives and also alcohol in fairly high concentrations, I would be very careful with the serums for that reason. |

i emailed skinterra and was recommended the pro heal and hydra cool... they sound like the more gentle of the serums. but yeah they still sound pretty potent.. whihc seems good in terms of my acne but not sure about the rashes... |

st3rlite I have very sensitive skin (no eczema though) and have been using the Proheal for one week. So far I have not experienced any irritation from it. My skin has been somewhat irritated overall but the side of my face that I have been using the Proheal on is no more irritated than the rest of my face. I do have a little more flakiness on the side of may face that I am treating with the Proheal but no other problems. Our skin types sound similar. I have oily, dehydrated, acne prone skin with whiteheads but I do not have large pores or eczema. I have a sample of the HydraCool that I have not tried yet so I cannot comment on that. I am not even going to try the Active serum since my skin cannot tolerate salicylic acid. I did try a sample of the IS Clinical cleanser and found it to be a bit drying and it was pretty irritating for me.
The Active serum and the Proheal serum both do contain alcohol. I don't know about the Active but judging by the ingredient list the Proheal has at most 15% alcohol. I did email IS Cinical to get the exact percentage of alcohol but they said that was proprietary information. I usually cannot tolerate products with alcohol but the Proheal seems to be okay for me so I am wondering if the alcohol percentage is very small.
I am comfortable enough with my reaction to the Proheal to actually order a full size. Maybe I will have irritation issues if I use it for a longer time but I am hoping that I don't. HTH
I would definitely recommend getting samples especially since you have sensitive skin. |
