So I just bought off EDS the PSF Retinol Nite Repair 1% and the Super Emergen-C Repair Serum. It should be here in about a week.
I want to make sure I add these two new products into the right place in my skincare routine.
I just simplified things lately, and right now I'm using the Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Serum and the Juice Beauty Antioxident. I use these both morning and night after cleansing. Then I follow up with my SPF moisturizer during the day and my other moisturizer (if needed) at night.
I figure I should be using the Vitamin C during the day right? In what order would I put on the products? Would it go after the Blemish Clearing Serum, but before the Antioxident?
Then for night, would the retinol go after the Blemish Clearing Serum as well? Or should it also go after the Antioxident?
Another question ... does using both the Antioxident and the Vitamin C both in the morning make sense? Or would you suggest I just use the Antioxident at night?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions! |

Well, the rule of thumb is to apply the lightest product first and work towards the heaviest. During the day sunscreen would be applied last but before any makeup.
I'm not familiar with any of the products you mentioned so it's a little difficult to answer but I'll try to help. Vit C is an antioxident and helps protect against sun damage so it is best used during the day under your sunscreen. I don't think I would use it with another antioxident. Perhaps rotate the days you use them.
Retinols make your skin more sensitive to the sun so should be used at night. I think I'd also rotate that with your Blemish Clearing Serum or use the Blemish Clearing Serum during the day.
I hope this helped and didn't just confuse you. |

Thanks for the suggestions! I think your answer makes sense ... I'll try this out when I get the retinol and Vit C in. |
