Hi,
I hope this is not a duplicate review.
I am not a big fan of La Mer cream -- that is there is nothing wrong with it but i just think it's overpriced for what it delivers.
I have to caveat this though by the fact that some people just love it and so if it's good for them then that's great.
There is one product from La Mer though that i've actually enjoyed and just bought another one from Neiman Marcus (it has a stiff price) and that is the refining facial.
I use very little and it does not irritate my sensitive skin but what i like the most is that afterwords my face has a beautiful glow and it sparkles. Some people may not like that look but i just love it...they put some kind of quartz or diamond crystal powder or something like that that makes the skin glow!
It makes me feel like i look like Cate Blanchett in Lord of the rings!!! |

Totally agree about Le Mer being overpriced as its a bit greasy but you have to try Elizabeth Ardens new night cream called Prevage its fab though not available here yet just got samples in and you have to book it if you want one. My friend got in the states at Christmas and was raving so I had to get a sample |

I personally think that if an expensive skin care product can make you look beautiful, then it is worth the price. If it makes your skin worse, then it is overpriced. It is subjective in everyone's point of view. |
