I currently use a stock standard Palmer's shea butter body lotion- nothing fancy and relatively inexpensive. It's OK but I recently got a sample of a skinceuticals Accept Skin firming lotion (for the body) and it was fantastic. Unfortunately you get a lot less of it for a much bigger pricetag. So before I 'commit' my to another purchase - does anyone have any favourites that work for them. I'm curious about the Phytomer and dermologica body creams - has anyone tried them? |

Hi KM,
I also really like Palmer's (cocoa butter lotion) and Peter Thomas Roth Ceramide Body lotion. I have the one without AHA's and it's excellent, very moisturizing, and light scent. There is also one with AHA's that I have not tried. I also haven't tried the Phytomer or Dermalogica body creams, but am also curious about these . |

Hi KM and Thoughtcrime
I use both the Dermalogica Body Hydrating Cream and the Ultra Rich Body Cream. I find that the Hydrating cream is more moisturising but with quite a strong citrus scent (which I love) but may not be to everyone taste. It does fade quite quickly though. This is a great cream if your skin is really thirsty and to give it a boost mix some Dermalogica Stress Relief oil into it, Yum Yum.
The Ultra Rich cream is quite nice with a light scent but for the money I don't find that it does as good a job as the hydrating cream.
Hope this helps.
I haven't used the Phytomer cream either but I am sure that someone else on this forum has.

KM,
I've used the Dermalogica Ultra Rich Body Cream (over the Stress Relief Oil too Roisin! ) and I've also tried the Phytomer Moisturizing Body Cream. They are both very nice, with the Phytomer one being lighter in texture (from what I remember). I felt that the Dermalogica one was more moistursing, but in all fairness to the Phytomer cream, I used the Stress Relief Oil under the Dermalogica moisturizer but not under the Phytomer one.

Hi Roisin, I'm glad you clarified between the two because I was going to get the Ultra Rich Body Cream because I thought (because of the name) it would be a richer body cream than the Hydrating cream. |

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I use the Dermologica multivitamin hand & nail cream and I adore the citrus scent of that too - so I will look forward to the body cream. Thanks once again |
