Just got off the phone with Rhonda about her new Velvet Plush formula.
She gave me a mini-tutorial on MMU and formulations and what to expect given my skin type.
She is so warm, friendly and knowledgeable. She clearly loves what she is doing and is willing to help in you in any way possible.
I can't wait to get my samples! |

I am a huge fan of Rhonda's too. She's so helpful and willing to custom blend to get that perfect shade. I'm pretty sure I've found my HG in BFM's old foundation formula but I've got samples of the new Velvet Plush coming as well. |

Rhonda is, without a doubt, a class act.
She listens to her customers, is always coming up with great products, and her customer service is amazing.
She's the best!

My velvet plush samples arrived only 4 days after placing the order
I love the creamy texture and finish . This is exactly what I was looking for - not shimmery or dead flat matte.
Velvet plush is your skin but better. I am new to MMU but have found my HG . Rhonda rules |

How is bareFaced mineral compared to other MMU such as JI, TRUE, Amazing cosmetics? TIA! |

Rhonda is a one woman operation as opposed to JI, True, and Amazing.
However, the customer service and products that she has are really quite wonderful! She listens to her customers.
I think her latest line of foundations the Velvet Plush and Velvet ???, sorry I forget the other name, was born out of the request from her customers for an MMU that had more Titanium Dioxide.
She has terrific color choices, whether you have neutral, pink, or golden undertones - has great lippies, eyeshadows, multi-taskers, I could go on....
She is extremely courteous and helpful and will custom formulate a color if what she has doesn't work for you. Now that I KNOW you won't get from Jane Iredale!
Anyway, just my two cents, but BareFaced Minerals is a great company all around.
Oh, you can sample to your hearts content too! All of her samples come in little jars! Very reasonably priced too.

Oops -
Edit to my last post in that it's the higher content of Zinc in her new formulation. I always get those two mixed up.

I just received another order from Rhonda. It took 6 days to get to BC, but in the past it was 10 days which is still not too bad. She uses Global Priority and the charges are very reasonable - between US$4-7 depending on package size. |

She quoted me $5.50 but didn't invoice me for the extra so I just paid what came up in the paypal cart. That was $4 for $12 in samples |

Rosyface,
You seem very confused - rhonda's prices are very straightforward and posted clearly for the velvet plush- $20.50 for a 20 gm jar, $28.50(+$8.50) for a 30 gm jar and $3.00(-$17.50) for samples. If you click on the different make selection buttons - these are the prices that show up. HTH |

Hi everyone - received my order this am! Took less than a week to get here and am loving the lippie styx - very moisturizing and beautiful colors.
I am now officially hooked on bareFaced minerals and understand why so many women love mineral makeup.
I glad to have found something that actually surpassed my expectations. |

Hi Rosyface ,
I hope you enjoy whatever you wind up ordering from barefaced Minerals as much as I do.
I find that the samples are very generous so you can really get a feel for what you want to get in the full sizes.
I ordered eyeliner and blush samples and they are very very pigmented.
The lippie styx are so hydrating that I applied the first color - went on playing with my samples -and tried to apply the 2 lippie! It feels like the most hydrating lipbalm and the color lasted thru 3 cups of tea. I'm used to spending $25-$40 on lipstick and the lippie styx do more for me.
I know I'm going on and on - but I love the texture and finish of the velvet plush and the finishing powder makes a huge difference - no oil break thru until 16:30 for my combo oily sensitive skin .
Enjoy your order Rosyface |
