Recently, I have read a book about make up by Bobbi Brown, and I was told that we should always look for foundations that have the yellow under-shade and never ever have pink or peachy undertones, I totally agree with this, but my question is how exactly can we know whether they are yellow or pink/peachy undershades? I once thought that it was pretty obvious by just looking at the color of the foundation, but then, when I read another forum on product review, even for some shades that I believe should be of the yellow undertones, like the beige or soft beige of the Ideal Balance from Loreal, the product review said they were too pink .. I was confused.. coz if you just look at the foundation colors, they dont appear pink nor peachy~
Can someone here help me solve the problem? What's the trick choosing a right color foundation? many thanks! |
