Hi everbody!
I have a battle with my oily-acne prone skin since i was a teenager. Over the years, some of it got dissappeared by itself, some of it dissappeared by using avarage cheap products. But over a year or so , i started to have redness over my cheeks, that i cant seem to get rid of. my forehead is generally clear n don't have redness, but my chin n cheeks are just disturbing me.
When it comes to my break-outs it happens on my chin n around my nose area. generally very big ones, i think cyctic acnes. But my skin's oil production seems to be well controlled by products i use.
3 days ago, i bought some dermalogica product. I got anti-bac wash, oil control lotion, medicated clearing gel.
today is third day i'm using them. I'm not sure how long i need to use these products before see its effects????
or You think i should do anything else to pass redness on my skin? ???
I read about Dermalogica's gentle soothing booster??? anybody used it ? has it worked for you?
Please help!!!!

When you mean 'redness' are you talking about redness where you used to have acne, redness caused by broken capillaries or just a general redness (like you're constantly blushing)? Also, is your skin normally sensitive?

Re: how long you have to use product to see effects. This is just a guess but I'm thinking you should give it at least a few weeks. A few days would not be enough in my opinion.

Mabsy.

Well i have red marks left from some spots, that's another problem but the one i wanna sort out is the redness on my face like a blushed cheeks then follow down on the middle of my chin but ever weirder my jaw area isn't red at all, it is my normal skin color.

i'm not sure why i started to have this problem. maybe the cheap products i have used before.

but i'm desperate to get rid of them :///

Subvixen,

It's possible you have a condition called Rosacea. Try doing a search onwww.google.com and see if the description matches your symptoms. If not, then try consulting with a dermatologist. It's a lot easier to treat something when you know exactly what it is.Wink
