There have been some posts in the past about websites that post toxic skin care ingredients. I found this one: http://www.alkalizeforhealth.net/Ltoxiccosmetics.htm
and am wondering how seriously I should take it/ if I should trust it.
I was specifically trying to research butylene glycol, a common ingredient found in skin care. I found that it is a petroleum derivative and is potentially toxic. Of course many ingredients become toxic when considering 100% strength. Does anyone know anything about butylene glycol? I definitely react to petroleum based products with hives and eczema so I was wondering if I should be worried if I see this in a product I am considering?....
