I found today an interesting site called gardenofwisdom.com and they have some products there I'm very interested in:
GoW Salcyric Acid
GoW Ageless DMAE Serum
GoW Majik C Serum
GoW Mandelic Marine Serum
Miracell
Fruit Extracts: Papaya
Red Rasberry Seed Oil
Anyone tried any of these?

I've ordered several things from this site before. I got a sampler pack of their serums which contained the DMAE, Magik C, and Mandelic serums among others. Haven't tried the Mandelic Marine one yet and I honestly can't remember much about what I thought of the Magik C. Nothing negative that I remember, but I guess it didn't *wow* me either.
I did like the DMAE serum very much and will probably order a full size of this in the future after I use up some of the products I've already got. It has lots of beneficial extra goodies in it along with the DMAE. Sinks in well and doesn't feel sticky. I'd buy it again just for the scent - to me it smells exactly like Dr. H cleansing cream (I've gotten addicted to the smell of this!)
Hope this helps. |

Thanks Hope! Which serum do you think would be the best for oily skin that still wants to fight wrinkles?

Haven't even heard of them but love the name. Maybe they're worth checking out. Thanks for the heads up. |

happyhippie,
It's hard for me to say, since my skin is dry. The DMAE serum is supposed to be anti-aging and it felt light and not greasy to me. It does have hyaluronic acid and Vit E in it, though, so I don't know how oily skin would react. The ingredients in the Mandelic Acid serum sound like they would be more suitable for oily skin and the alpha-hydroxy acids would help with skin texture and wrinkles. I haven't tried my sample of this, though, so I can't tell you anything from personal experience.
5ml sizes of each are pretty inexpensive, so it might be worthwhile to invest in these first. |

Markey at GOW is great from what I read over on the mineralmania board. My own experience is that her customer service and shipping time is outstanding! And she sent me a free sample of an antioxident serum. Sweet!
I was reading about a concoction she has that is supposed to be a great mosquito repellent. I may have to check that out as the rain here in New England has brought them out in HOARDS. Yuk.
I bought from her a serum containing kojic, wildberry and arbutin to help with melasma spots. Nothing noticable yet, but I haven't given it enough time.

Hi - I've ordered from Markey at the Garden of Wisdom site. She offers superb customer service and products.
I love the Mandelic Serum - 15% (no alcohol). It is evening out my skin tone and fine lines. (I'm 40) |

I've ordered the lightening serum that Maria is trying. It'll probably take a couple of months before any effects are noticed but I've got my fingers crossed.
Markey is wonderful to deal with. Very friendly and she goes the extra mile for her customers. Plus she has a weekly free sample special that is included with every order. |

I've ordered from GOW 2 different times and have been really happy with the products. I love the clay mask sampler and each packet will make several masks. I've also tried some of the oils (red raspberry, watermelon and argan). Both of my orders shipped very quickly. |

I've ordered from them as well and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the products arrived in AU, and the service is great too. Any of my questions have been answered promptly |

I am really interested in the red raspberry seed oil because it's effective as an spf, but I am concerned that it will clog my pores.. it's mostly high in linoleic acids |

I got my order from GoW yesterday...2% BHA, 3-pk sampler of HA (I got cucumber, cranberry and blue mallow) and hemp seed oil. Hope I love it all...shipping was super fast and I've heard nothing but raves about Markey. |

Has anyone tried GOW HA serums, I am particulary tempted by the immortelle/helychrysum one. |

I'm going to order some stuff today.. still deciding what.. I think the HA serum 3 pack, neem oil, the 'oh no what did I do to my face', some 10% mandelic acid, and the sebum control anti-ox. serum.. oh, and maybe some zinc oxide powder and veggie base cream, but I am still trying to figure out if I can just mix the zo powder with the cream (to make sunscreen) or if it will just chunk up.. maybe I'll ask the folks in the diy forum |

I have used the GOW veggie base cream. It's really thick and doesn't absorb. I mixed pearl powder in it. I have not tried any other base cream to compare if this is typical of base cream or not, but my experience doesn't give a high mark to the GOW base cream right now. |

I love GoW's HA serums. I have immortelle (very soothing to my skin and wonderful under MMU), cucumber (great scent), honey comb (smells just like honey - I like to use this one at night), spearmint (energizing), goji berry (neutral scent, feels great on my skin), and pink grapefruit (the pink color and citrus smell make me happy). I apply these serums over cleansed skin with a drop or two of red raspberry seed oil during the day and a mix of oily-sin-friendly oils at night. They make my skin feel moisturized but not oily, smooth, and wonderfully plump. I love this company - fabulous customer service, very helpful forum, very reasonable prices, and amazing products. |
