Is there such a thing as a minimizing bra? Or do you mean a good push-up bra for big size ... breasts? I'm also interested to hear recommendations. |

I haven't ordered personally, but a friend of mine whose chestier frequently orders online from Figleaves. They even allow you to shop for swimsuit pieces separately. Right now I am wearing Bali's minimizers but after measuring myself, I am wearing the wrong cup size. Need to go up. Yikes. |

There are definitely bras out there that make you look smaller. Would appreciate any ideas or companies that you have been pleased with.

The last time I went bra shopping I must have tried on a dozen bras. I finally found ONE that fit well and gave me the support I wanted, plus it doesn't look like a granny bra. It happened to be a minimizer bra with underwire. I LOVE it. It's called the Olga Sheer Tapestry Minimizer Bra. They cost around $30.00, but you can get them cheaper on eBay. |

I used to have this problem before my breast reduction. I had one style of bra I wore all the time. I can't remember the name, though. I do know it was specifically a minimizer, I used to buy them at Target, and they had a little tag in between the boobs that said "reduces up to 1 1/2 inches" or something. Maybe playtex? It wasn't a target brand. I hope that helps a little. Probably not, huh?
I saved them to remind me of how big I used to be, but I've been looking and can't find them. I'll be packing to move soon, though, so if I find one I'll report back. |
