I know Vichy products are only mediocre, but I cannot afford any of the expesive Vitamin C
products mentioned on the forum, so I was wondering if anyone got good results on their face from Vichy Vitamin C? It's still not even cheap!
Thanks! |

I haven't tried it but generally I tend not to buy any C serum that does not come in a tinted glass bottle (or some packaging that does not let in light) and is not based on at least 10% l-ascorbic acid. There have been a few exceptions but nowadays I try to stick to that.
Have you seen the home-made version on the DIY thread? Maybe that might be a good alternative seeing as you say that the Vichy is expensive still? |

Hi Andrea
Actually a colleague of mine recently had melasma suddenly appear and used the Vichy Vit C (brightening or whitening something serum) and I thought 'what a load of old rubbish she'll never fix it with that', but after a few weeks it was definitely fading and she had the usual nicer, brighter skin tone etc which comes with C use.
There are some slightly cheaper C serums here though. I was happy with Cellular Skin Rx C + Firming Serum (30 ml / 1 oz.) $44.00 and there are a lot of good reviews on it.
For me the Vichy is just as expensive as that one, but it might be because I'm in China and Vichy is more expensive here.
