I know this stuff is expensive but man have I had great results with just one bottle of it. I was told that after 2 bottles I would not recognize my skin. I had terrible scarring after doing a 50% Glycolic peel a couple of months ago and thought I had really undone all the work from clearing up my skin with Obagi. I mean my skin had burned through to where there were sores on my face around the outside and on my neck! And when it all healed I was left with dark spots! I thought I was gonna die. I was WORSE than before I started Obagi b/c the spots were bigger.
but since I've used the revive vitamin C with retinol, they have almost cleared up. the ones on my face are gone and the huge one on my neck is almost there. These are faster results then when I was using the Hydroquinone with Retin A (Obagi) for 8 weeks.
I apply this under everything at night and I also apply it to my upper lids. they have tightened up a bit! All my other products absorb way faster after I apply the serum. I'm using the same revive creams that I have been using for over 6 months, just added the Vitamin C there so it must be from the V-C. I WAS using coppe peptides but was told that it interferred with Vitamin C so I stopped using that for a long time so that cannot take the credit either.
but I am just now using that in the AM again and see if that tightens things up even more.
It feels wonderful going on as well. Must be the silicone in it. It is a creme that feels sort of like a light powder going on.
anyway I love it and will continue to use it. Ive used a few dif Vitamin c serums including homemade and have never really had any results from those. I just hoped something was happening there.
Now here is the painful part. It retails for $300. I would not pay that but I get it on Ebay and always get a good deal. Haven't paid more than what a reg vitamin C serum would cost. I've purchased 2 bottles- $66 for one and $99 for the other is what I have paid so far.
So this is MY HG for Vitamin C. I WISH I had taken pics for you all but I really did not expect these results.

Wendy,
What type of Vitamin C is in the serum and what is the percentage of C and retinol? Would you have a complete ingredient list?
Thanks. |

I don't know what the % is but here is the list.
NGREDIENTS: Cyclomethicone, Ascorbic Acid, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Polysilicone-11, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Retinol, Propylparaben
A cosmetic chemist said it was formulated well and the silicone is a good idea to keep it stablized on the skin. He did not work for Revive. |

Thanks Wendy! It does look like a good formula and appears to be anhydrous which would indeed make it more stable. The only other anhydrous C serum that I know of is SkinMedica which has two different forms of Vitamin C instead of one, a total of 15% Vitamin c but no retinol. Here's the ingredients if you are interested, they are somewhat similar.
SkinMedica Vitamin C Complex
Ingredients: Cyclomethicone, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, polysilicone-11, phytantriol, ethoxydiglycol, bisabolol, tocopheryl acetate, tocopherol |

I notice you state you apply this first, but with the silicone doesnt it stop ur other products from penetrating? I have a sample of this product and because of the silicone, I've never figured out when to use this. |

No as I said it feels as if my products absorb BETTER when I apply it first. It used to take awhile for the eye renewal cream to sink in but after using the vitamin booster c, it absorbs much quicker. |

Do you think if I asked for samples of this, they would send them???
I know ReVive is usually very generous with samples, but I have never seen this in sample form.

Hi Wendy
I'd love to try the Revive Volumizing Serum - would you mind at all telling me the name of the sellers you get it from on ebay? If they have your seal of approval, I'd definitely give them a go!
Thanks very much |

a freind game me her sample its a small pump version of the regular size vit c. I've never received the vit c in a sample from the store but you could ask worse they could do is say no and you could then bitch about that u dont want to spend 300 on something ur not sold on and see if they do it. I think some wont only because they knwo its all being sold on ebay and suspect ur a seller. So give it whirl by kinda talking them into it. I'd even say how am I suppose to get a sample, revives site states for me to ask you for these. Good luck |
