Is retin-A better than retinol? You can only get retin-A with a prescription in Canada, and I do not have acne at the moment, so it would be hard to get a prescreption! I suppose I could eat a bunch of chocolate bars and chips and drink alot of pop- to make myself break out. Then go to the doc.
But seriously- which is better? I met a girl who was using retin -A and her skin looked like a baby's. |

You can buy Retin A off the Internet from Mexican pharmacies. OK...I realize how sketchy that sounds, but for real. I'm sure there have been threads about it here... if not, a Google search should eventually get you where you want to go.
I've never used retinol, but I've used Retin A and I like it. It keeps my acne under control and makes my skin very soft. I haven't seen much progress at all with the fine lines around my eyes I am so eager to see vanish, and that's disappointing, but I'm going to stick with Retin A regardless.
I guess it's too harsh/drying for some people...why not start with retinol and see how your skin reacts? If you have no probs with it, then move on to Retin A...? |
