I am going to be in Italy next week. Does anyone have any suggestions what to buy there?
Also, does anyone use any Santa Maria Novella products, and if yes, what are they and what do they do for you?
Thank you. |

roadtonowhere,
Is the calendula cream is good for eczema? Does it really help? What do you like about the sensitive cream?
Kiki,
Thank you for the tip. |

kiki: i really do like the calendula cream. but keep in mind, i only have light eczema where it is itchy my skin gets scaly. one of my friends has bad eczema and i dont think this cream would help his severe eczema coz he looks like he is much more pain than me when it is inflammed.
about the sensitive cream... well... i sampled different kinds of smn creams and deicided it is the best for me (in the winter). in the winter, my skin becomes more sensitive. on top of that, i also ski a lot in the winter that causes me get sun/wind burn. thats why i think the sensitive cream is good.
another cream that i like from smn is the idralia cream.
hope this helps.

The soaps are wonderful-(I used the cold cream soap as a body cleanser ) and the body oils(pomegranate smells divine) as well. The perfumes are also great.
You will find a wide variety of skincare + body care products as well as food - olive oil and special herbal teas. It is a great place to pick up gifts as well.
Plan to spend a good deal of time in the boutique
Have a wonderful trip |

Hi Doba,
You didn't mention where you will be in Italy but I live here and I just love going into the various little erboristerias (shops with herb based products) that sell natural cosmetic and body care products. They are everywhere! The brands are primarily Italian natural brands and the products are lovely. I find that whenever I go into one of these little shops, I never come out empty handed.
Regarding Santa Maria Novella products, sorry I've never tried them so I can't help you there.
Have a nice trip! |
