to smqueen,
I've been to both locations (Bay and Sears) to have Decleor facials.
As far as I know they seldom give samples to customers unless you buy something from them. I've purchased a gift basket from the Decleor counter 2 years ago and the SA didn't give me any samples. You can try to ask because it is wise to try samples before purchase. |

Decleor is sold at Beauty Court in Aberdeen Center in Richmond.
Also sold at Shifeon stores in Oakridge and Robson.
They also carry Yonka products which I can only find there but I order through EDS anyways for the free gifts. Shifeon are very nice with their samples, I walked in the other day JUST for samples because I was changing a lot of my skincare products and I needed to try a bunch before purchasing and they just gave me everything I asked for. |

That's a good idea to try the facial to see if the product works well on you or not. FYI, the Decleor Facial at the Beauty Court costs $60CAD+GST/treatment, and the Facial takes place at Parker Place Mall in Richmond. I've tried the Valmont Facial once and feel satisfied with their service. |

Yes that is a good idea, but maybe I'd call EDS and get one there
Beauty Court is good but generally the service there is NOT so good and a lot of the sales are NOT informative about their products and are not too generous with their samples. They also usually recommend expensive products rather than the ones best suited to skintype. You can probably try their facials, I have never so they might be good. But I wouldn't purchase from there unless there is a GWP that I want - Shifeon offers 10$ gift certificates for ever 50$ purchase. It is also accumulative that means if you spend less than 50 on one purchase, that amount is saved in their computer and is added on to your next purchase until you get 50$. I found that out when I went to buy some stuff the other day. |

I agree that Beauty Court Sales are not knowledgeable on beauty products and they just push you buying expensive lines whatsoever they suit your skin type or not. My friend has bought one skincare item over there but it was not fresh as she told me. Perhaps that brand is not well-known.
About Shifeon? Once I went into the shop to ask some questions about a product and the sales talked to me in Mardarin but I really didn't understand so I asked her to speak English. Then she tried hard to speak to me in her poor English. End up I received NO satisfactory answer and NO samples. I thought I was the sales, NOT her.
Forget to mention that she opened one brand new bottle showing me the scent of the nightcream. I am shocked coz she is not professional at all. How come she opened a brand new item? If I have bought something which has been opened before I will be mad.
I must admit that Shifeon is very generous on giving out coupons. When you spend over $50.00. you get $10.00 or over $100.00 you receive $20.00 and so on..... |
