A while back, quite a few members were raving about a specific cleansing cloth, but I can't remember which one it was.
I thought it might be DH, but I don't see it listed. I've done several searches, but no luck.
Can anyone tell me which brand this might be?
TIA. |

Was it perhaps a microfibre cloth? I seem to remember some people having great experiences with those.
Or many people use muslin cloths, such as Eve Lom's or Liz Earle's. |

I'm not sure if it's the one you're thinking of, but I remember a lot of people raving about the Dermalogica Ultimate Buffing Cloth a while back. I almost caved in to all the raves at the time and am thinking that at this point in the summer, I just might need to do that.
Here's a link to the product on the EDS site:

Sorry if it's not the one you're thinking of... |

Oh, then I can definitely recommend it, as I was one of the people raving about it!
Sorry, I thought you meant a facial cleansing cloth. |

Someone here suggested the generic microfiber cleaning cloths from Walgreens. I bought a set and they're great. |

Please post back after you've used it. I remember how stunned I was after my first time scrubbing with it. Hopefully, you're going to love it! |

The microfiber cloths you guys are getting from Target, Walgreens, etc-- are they just labeled as regular house cleaning cloths? TIA! |

is this dermatologica ultimate buffing cloth or this microfbre that you guys are talking about is for the face? If it is, is it really gentle? |

Hi Angel06,
The Ultimate Buffing Cloth is definitely not for the face...it would be much too harsh. But it's great for the body!
It's a really scrubby long piece of fabric (nylon mesh?), that's good for scrubbing hard to reach areas like the back. Here's a link to the product info: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/dermalogica-ultimate-buff-p_1482.htm
Hope that helps! |

I caved a while back and found that it was no different than using a regular old wash cloth. Can you wonderful people help me understand why I did not have the great experiences you did? I found no difference in my skin. I loved the idea, but found using a wash cloth and throwing in the wash everytime was better for me at least. |

I'm not sure that it makes a lot of difference for the rest of my body, but what makes it worth it to me is that I can get the middle of my back with it. That is one area that I have a really hard time reaching otherwise, and I tend to break out there.
I think it has also exfoliated the rest of my body better than my washcloths, but that might just differ by brand. |

You can buy a very similar product in Asian markets or Chinatown for a lot cheaper, maybe around $4-5. A lot of people in Japan use this as a their regular wash cloth. |

don't mean to hijack the thread, but what facial cloths do you guys recommend? or should I do a face brush like the Dermalogica one?
thanks! |
