I've seen these sold at a few online places and was wondering if anyone tried them and liked the products, specifically the Black Velvet cleanser?
Thanks! |

Hi Agave, when my in laws were in Las Vegas they visted the Simply Divine Botanicals store and came with several of their products:
*Body Cream, too thick to be called Lotion, the Lavender one _ this was sooo thick and left an oily residue also the Lavender scent was very very strong (I hear the Coconut smells good though). We all liked this at first but then it got passed around as everyone tired of the strong scent and greasiness.
*Creme de Rose - My MIL loved this at first and used it as night cream, don't know what happened as she now uses it as a foot cream
*Gypsy Rose Tea Toner - This is really Apple Cider Vinegar toner, my SO could not stand the vinegar smell, it worked though and my skin looked good after using this.
*Peel me a papaya skin polish - I still have some of this somewhere, looks like sand off the beach, good but contains some sharp particles, I like the fact I could mix in with my cleanser.
*Outer Body Experience Cleanser for face, body and hair - was too strong for my oily skin, left it feeling very taut, may be good for hair I never tried, it smelt like washing up liquid, I had the unscented.
*Butter me up Body Butter - very thick, made a fantastic foot cream.
You get a lot of product and I did find some of them a bit overpowering in scent and texture but I would advise to try first, I love the whole philosophy of the skincare line and it looks like a lot of the products have been revamped and more introduced.

I really love these products!!
The rose cream is so nice!! I also really like the peel me a papaya mask. The rose oil is my favorite product though. It doesn't make me brake out and it smells amazing!! The pack your bags eye cream is really great for removing dark circles. I know many people who have had great success with this product. Not sure how great it would be under make up though. I have it but only use it on non make up days. I also like the C weed serum.
The black velvet cleanser was a bit too drying for me. I prefer a cream cleanser. I believe it is quite popular though...
I would recommend getting the sample versions first. |

I recently purchased Pack Your Bags They're Leaving eye gel, and like it very much. I can actually feel it firming. It works under makeup for me, though having said that I do use another cream over the top and haven't tried it alone. I also have samples of Honey I Shrunk the Pores skin polisher/mask, Creme de Rose moisturiser and Amazing Face moisturiser. I especially like the first two of these, in particular the Rose moisturiser which is an excellent makeup base. It makes my skin feel very soft, is hydrating, and leaves the skin with a lovely glow. All the products are strongly scented, but in a very nice way, I think. |

i just placed my second order yesturday...
i've tried:
cream to thick to be called lotion - very nice & thick, applied right after showering & w. a light hand was very nice; got it in unscented.
coconut milk lotion - left a very weird film on my skin...could feel it washing off my hands even after applying several hours earlier; got it in orange blossom...lovely.
pack your bags their leaving - love it, smells of melons, tightening, but i also always apply cream or oil on top.
sample of rose oil - heaven. just ordered the full size...i use it as perfume.
sample of rose cream (the original, not the new day version) - loved it. the scent was strongly of roses, but mellowed out once applied & left a comforting rosy scent.
sample of honey i shrunk the pores - really liked this, a bit scary-looking on, though, raspberry jam. just ordered the full size.
sample of outer body experience - did not like this, smelt funny, really thin consistency, bright green, foaming action that was neither here nor there.
barbara, the owner was very nice & prompt w. questions that i had. overall a very nice shopping experience. |

Well I haven't tried any of their products but love the names: "Pack your bags they're leaving eye gel". LOL That's a classic. |

I just ordered the sample pack and so far everything smells so yummy. I have had really bad acne in the past and am trying to wean myself off the harsh products my dermatologist has me on...so I'm using the "You Can't Zit Here" facial wash. It smells refreshing and so far, I've only had one new breakout. I used a small portion of the Skintastic (Sandalwood) Elixir...I think that's the name...and it smells so yummy (if you like sandalwood, that is). I slept like a baby after applying it.
I'll keep everyone posted about these products after I use them more. It's only been a few days.
I also ordered samples from Evan's garden to compare effectiveness. |

Hi Sigma,
May I ask why you stopped? Did you have a reaction or did you find something better? |

I sometimes still do.
But as always I am on a quest to find that elusive perfect skincare.... |

I tried these products and they smelled sooo good! (especially the sandalwood one...yum) but my acne is a persistent case, apparently. I do wonder if I gave it enough time to effect a change, but when my face starts making those really painful zits, I lose my patience quickly. I am off to try something else...
I think I'm going to try one of those nano silver soaps...
Oh, the products for the body worked well for me. They are just pricey. They smelled great though and moisturized my dry skin very well. |
