I seem to be allergic to talc. It´s a bloody inconvenience, considering that it´s the main ingredient in most blushes, eye shadows and whatnot. In addition, I can´t use bismuth (sp?) so that pretty much leaves me with bismuth free MMU, which of course is not readily available in Norway. I´m no stranger to ordering online ( ) but it takes a while to get here, so I want to stock up. Can anyone recommend talc and bismuth free makeup? It doesn´t have to be MMU.
I´ve had to put all my brand new purchases up on MUA, including BB, Nars and MAC, and I *loved* the colors when I ordered them. |

I reccomend TRUE. It is a mineral based powder and it is a compact. They also have a loose powder, but the loose powder does contain bismuth oxy (sp). The conpact contains
no talc
no bismuth oxy
no mica
those ingredients I can not use, |

Absolutely! I can't get near the stuff. From the research I've done, even those who don't have a vsisble reaction to talc shouldn't use it as it's toxic to humans.
I, too, have been using Jane Iredale mineral makeup line for years and love it. It actaully is good for the skin and looks wonderful. There are numerous similar mineral-based makeup lines, but read ingredients carefully, as some of them add toxic stuff. Larenim is another clean one I've tried.
The Dr. Hauschka makeup is also wonderful and look great. It has super-clean ingredients and all sorts of botanical and natural ingredients that are really good for you skin.
As with many "bad discoveries", this could be an opening to find some wonderful alternatives and healthier options.
Good luck! |

Hello,
I also have allergies to many things ...
I use Lavera make up and skin care. I believe they don't use talc in most of the products. But be careful and make sure you read the ingredients, because some products in this line contain talc. They also have Dr. H.'s products. Here is one of the sites:

Good luck!
