Just wanted to tell you about my experience yesterday. I went to a spa about an hour from my home to have a skincare consultation re: pevonia products. I've been reading up on the range and wanted to give it a try. When I'd been looking on the website at the various ranges, I definitley would have bought the range for problematic skin as it sounded most like my skintype. I had a really good thorough consultation with a therapist with similar skin to me and to my amazement discovered that I've actually got sensitive skin! She put me under a skin scanner and I actually have dehydrated, sensitive skin as well as oily spotprone skin! Anyway I've got a starter kit and the products seem nice, only been using them for one day. I'm also going to start having regular facials. Just though I'd share this with you, anyone else ever get a suprise re: their skin type? |

I wasn't at all surprised reading about your experience. I thought I had normal skin for so long, then I picked up Leslie Baumann's new book: The Skintype Solution. Well, turns out I have dry, resistant (not sensitive), non-pigemented, wrinkled skin. I would have never described my face that way, but her exhaustive questionnaire delivered that result. And treating my skin as such has made an enormous difference.
It's totally worth paying attention to your skin and finding the right tools to determine what your skintype is! |
