I was tempted to have another bath last night with the bath melts but decided to try a bath bomb for a change I had a lovely Peaches&Cream (from what I recall) that I used.
Yum! Very much like LUSH bath bombs but not so overpowering on the butters. This bath bomb had just the amount of butters in it to give me noticeably moisturised skin but not leave me feeling too oily. I used the whole one and I would not recommend being stingy and using just half if you have a medium sized tub - the one bath bomb is just perfect. My bathroom (and then consequently me) smelled like peaches afterwards
Now for the warning - drop this in either as you are getting into the bath or after you get in. I dropped it in as I was getting in but forgot something so I stepped out - almost killed myself getting back into the bath because (of course) the oils make it a bit slippery. I guess this is fairly common sense but just though I'd mention it. Also, as with any bath bomb that contains butters and colouring - be prepared to clean your tun afterwards
Final verdict: I really like this and it was a lovely relaxing bath but I think I prefer the melts. Only because they leave me just as moisturised (ok, maybe a little less?) but do not leave the bathtub looking that bad (what can I say? I'm lazy! ) |

Thanks for the review Mabsy. I have not tried the bombs yet. In fact, the past few days they have been on my mind. Most likely I would have ordered them by now but find I don't need much moisture (face or body) during these hot, humid months. When I decide to try them I think I will ask Candy to do mine without any color. A few months ago I tried a bath bomb from a local store. My tub is older and porus. WOW, it really stained my tub. It took a lot of elbow grease to get the stain out. Besides, the bath bomb I purchased was useless. I know I will like Candy's. Like you, I really enjoy those melts. |

It depends on the type of colorant used. But, of course will make it without if you so choose.
Mabsy - Glad you didn't wind up having the EMT's seeing you in all your 'glory' in the bathroom. |
