Is anyone familiar with this? It's supposed to be good for the hair but I can't seem to find any info on it. (Besides wanting to eat one for a snack ) |

Fantasia,
I think you mean carrot seed oil. You can buy this from aromatherapy shops.
Burt's Bees uses it in some of their skincare products too.
I know that it's wonderful for skin so why not hair. |

Hello Fantasia,
I only know about carrot seed oil and its effect on the skin. It is very high in vitamin A and the Carotenes. It improves the elasticity and tone of the skin, repairs damaged tissues and helps with wrinkkles and scars. I am actually wearing some as I am writing this. It offers some protection from UV rays.
Keep in mind that pure essential carrot seed oil is orange in color. Anything else means that the product has been bleached to remove the orange color and it is not useful or therapeutic in any way.
I don't know what effect it has on the hair. |

Thanks, queen and leelee. I think I am going to give it a try on my hair and let you know. Appreciate the input. |
