OH MY GOSH! Before joining this forum, if anyone had told me I could put pure oil and beeswax on my sensitive skin and not break out, I would have said they were crazy!
I received my Decleor package from EDS, and my skin is drinking it up. (Like a lost man in a desert who discovers an oasis.)
For the first few days, I tried samples of various creams, oils and balms, and none of them caused me to break out. And my lifelong red blotchiness has just about disappeared.
Decleor is AWESOME and way more natural than most skin care lines.
I'll post reviews of specific Decleor products once I decide what my favorites are. (Tough decision!!!) |

Hi Alohagirl,
Decleor is what I used a couple of years ago, and is actually when I started really getting into skin care. I know, a little bit late unfortunately. But better late than never, is my motto :P So curious to know what you like better, Decleor or Orlane? I guess time will tell, right. The S.A. at the
Orlane counter, pretentiously said that Decleor was not in the same league as Orlane, and that Orlane's competitor was Sisley. Who cares... I say, use whatever works for you, whether it's drug-store or high-end... That's my 2 cents |

At this point, I'd have to say that Orlane's Vit-A-Min line: scrub, mask and eye cream are FANTASTIC. But for moisturizing and treatments, Decleor's oils and balms can't be beat. They moisturize, comfort and heal my skin beautifully, without a single chemical! |

OK. I am a Decleor addict. I have heard of Orlane. How are the two similar? |

esq,
I don't think Orlane and Decleor are similar at all. I just compared the two because I love both lines and was trying to make up my mind which one to use.
Orlane is more upscale and the prices reflect this. It comes in beautiful packaging, and is sold in high-end stores like Neiman Marcus. It has a devoted following among wealthy ladies, many of whom have used it for decades.
Decleor, on the other hand, is less expensive. The packaging is "no-frills," and it's sold in lots of stores and spas. The products are great so it also has a big following, but from a different kind of customer.
Another big difference: Orlane's products have almost no natural ingredients and tend to be heavily perfumed, whereas Decleor is full of natural oils that smell light and absolutely heavenly.
