I really like this one. One of the things that struck me about it was the fact that it says on the packaging "Does not stain" and I thought "Woa! What kinda funky colour is this gonna be!?". I opened it up to find a nice thickish deep green gel - and no, it did not stain
This stuff is lovely, especially when you've been on your feet all day. I had a few days where I got home for about 15 minutes and had to dash off to dinner again. My legs were sore and tired so I decided to give this a go and it was a good pick-me-up. It's a bit menthol-y so I guess that's where the refreshing bit comes from. I don't find that it's moisturising at all, it certainly does not make your skin greasy, it just dries and your legs look like they looked just before
Btw, for the first few minutes it sort of doubles as vic's vaporub It doesn't have a very strong smell that gets everywhere (like vics) but if you didn't wash your hands then for just a few minutes they have a strong menthol smell (which you can only smell if you bring them close enough to your face). Call me weird, but I quite like that smell so I was just breathing it in (it's quite refreshing that way too :P). Btw, make sure you wash your hands after applying this if you have a habit of rubbing your eyes It's a good product to get if you want to get rid of that habit too :P
I still want to try the Gehwol leg balm too, I've heard very good things about that one. Maybe with the next order....

I'm lucky to have a jar of Gehwol Leg Vitality, thanks to the generosity of the ladies at EDS and I love it.
I massage this cream on my legs, especially my calves after every swim or bike ride and again I can dance in heaven. Its ingredients includes Avocado Oil, Soybean Oil ( yum!).
This cream is also good for your hands as well. It has no strong smell and won't irritate your eyes. I did a test , rubbing my eyes with my creamed hand, and I didn't cry.
So go for it, Mabsy, one cream for all four. |
