This product is very similar and comparable to B.E. mineral veil in terms of performance and packaging. In fact I can't really tell a difference thus far. The ingredients are different. B.E. has more minerals, and other ingredients I can't pronounce, whereas YB's ingredients have mica and the rest are food based: corn starch, rice starch, parsley extract, cucumber extract, lemon peel extract, and it also has herbs such as calendula.... YB is cheaper (not by much), and it comes in different shades: light, med., and dark. I wish it had a transluscent shade like the B.E. So far, no breakouts. It's really hard for me to decide which one to keep using, cause I really don't see a difference. My skin is combo, leaning more toward normal-dry these days, and I don't really have to do any touch ups during the day as far as shine factor.

Hey Thoughtcrime,

I tried the YB foundations and they were quite good, I wasn't quite happy with the colours though so I never ordered the full size products. They do have a beautiful blush though! It's called PlumBerry and it's absolutely gorgeous! Though I still have trouble applying loose powder blush so that it looks natural. Grrr!

I too have trouble applying this loose powder. I think I'm too heavy handed and also I don't give my moisturizer a chance to sink in. (this works well with liquids because I get a very natural look but not good for mineral makeup.)
I kept the Youngblood mineral makeup around and find it works wonderfully as a concealer. I use it everyday under my eyes.
I have the rice setting powder too but have only used it a couple of times. Can't say if it's yay or nay for this one.
