Well I popped into L'Occitane as I saw the big sale sign (got some nice shea butters btw
But I thought to myself, what a great place to get my young niece some nice stuff that's gentle to her skin... and won't cost a fortune. Well I looked at all their bubble baths and shower gels...and it was an SLS party.
*Sigh* |

Wow thanks for letting me know I was just about to go have a look maybe purchase the Milk Shower Gels. I'm particularly hoping the soaps have better ingredients as I am in need of a good milk soap. |

I know, it's definitely disappointing for me that thier soaps contain SLS. On the other hand, they are a cruelty-free company and I loooove the way their products smell, so I'm willing to let a little SLS slip because of those points... |

SLS is one of my newer fixations. I'd never really given it that much thought until hanging around this forum. Now I check the labels on everything.
Shame about L'Occitane as some of their products are quite nice. I like the Olive Daily Shower Creme. |

SLS irritates my body like crazy, but I LOVE the foam it gives off....I'm planning on trying the Dr. H body washes next..they don't have SLS |

I know how you feel, manslayerliz! I had decided that as soon as I run out of my latest shampoo (which I had for ages), I was going to get their angelica shampoo and conditioner. THEN, I read the ingredients and I was soooo disappointed!! Oh well. I thought they were so natural that it surprised me to see several things in them that I am avoiding now as I try to go more chemical free.
sniff, sniff
They are great products though! |
