thought this might be fun...
mine is a thin gold ring with 5 small diamonds acroos the top.
This ring has been handed down to me from my mother and it's the only ring I like wearing. I've never been a ring person, find them uncomfortable and in the way. But this one is as if it was made for my middle finger... Although it is faaaar from being just that.
I am the fifth generation...The ring is /was my grandmothers grandmothers engagement ring! |

Hmm...I'd have to say my engagement ring. I wear it with my wedding ring, but the fact that my husband worked almost TEN odd jobs around town the summer before he proposed just to pay for it. I couldn't figure out why he was working so darn much.
And he picked it out himself (if you knew him, that's amazing!).
Yep, my favorite...though I have many sentimental pieces of jewelry.
OH good lord I'm getting all mushy and romantic... |

There are really only two rings that I wear...my wedding/engagement ring and a ring that belonged to my Mom who passed away in 1999. It was a ring that her significant other had given her (they lived together for 13 years), and it's very unique looking. Hard to describe, but it's a fairly thick gold band with a sort of old-fashioned "swirly" pattern on top with a lot of tiny diamonds and two larger diamonds (which are cut in some sort of way I've never seen before). Anyway, it's a beautiful ring, but I love it all the more 'cause it belonged to Mom.

Mine is my georg jensen bangle at the moment. From as long as I remember I always wore a bracelet and necklace - these I never take off 24/7, even up till now. So at the moment I've been wearing my georg jensen SS bangle for 3-4 years and don't see a reason for change yet. |

my engagement ring and wedding band. Being from Ireland people here are not used to seeing a center stone that not a diamond. Its unique a 3crt saphire with 1ct round diamonds on each side. DH designed it himself in Europe and the matching band is every other stone. Been married 5 years |

That's difficult. I guess if you DON'T include my engagement ring and wedding ring, then I can narrow it down to two pieces.
One is a string of peach-colored pearls my husband brought back to me from a trip to China when we were still courting. I wore them on my wedding day.^-^ (Wearing them right now, as a matter of fact...)
The other is a juicy, cusion-cut, checkerboard-faceted teal topaz cocktail ring. Right after my husband and I got engaged, we were strolling around Singapore together and my husband casually mentioned that he had been looking in jewelry shops for the perfect blue topaz for me, and that he thought he had found it but he wanted to take me to see it to make sure. When I saw it, I could barely stop drooling long enough to put it on my finger, LOL! |

My engagement ring is a definate first place. I do have another ring and a necklace that I wear everyday, except for events when I need to wear something nicer. I get nervous if I don't have them on...like good luck charms. The necklace is just a silver pendant of the moon goddess. Nothing special but it just "called to me" in the store. If that makes sense.
The other ring I wear is my highschool class ring. I graduated in '95 so I've pretty much worn it everyday since then. Before you all think I'm a freak...it doesn't at all look like a typical class ring. It's silver and black with "Art '95" etched into it. (I went to an arts high school hence the "art" on the ring). Some students designed class rings and we all voted. The winner was mass produced. It was a very challenging time in my life and the ring is a reminder of what I can accomplish and overcome. |

It would have to be my white gold promise ring from the bf (it's been a very long promise) and a sterling silver trinity blue topaz ring. |

My favourite piece which I always wear, unless I feel like really accessorising my outfit, is my diamond solitaire necklace. The diamond came from a solitare ring which was given to me for my sweet 16 from my dad. Just before he passed away I had it set on a choker tiffany link chain as I thought I would make more use of it that way. And I'm glad I did as I always have it on. It now reminds me of him and makes me feel special and is just beautiful as well. |

Ah--I constantly wear a pair of oval-ish hoops that I got from Anthropologie. They're about four inches long but are very light and thin and because they're pretty classic (hammered gold) go with everything! |

I'd have to say my engagement ring and wedding band.
I also have a pair of diamond studs that I wear all the time. |
