Rare minerals had been the rave a while back on other forums.
What is the opinion here on rare minerals? Anyone still using it and loving it?
I am still tempted to try this; can someone talk me out of it? |

I'm using it at the moment. I cannot yet attempt to talk you out of it because I like it so far I haven't been using it for long enough but I do like the way my skin looks in the morning - it seems to look calmer. I'm not sure if it's the effect of the coverage (I've got it in Clear) or if it's actually doing something. |

That is exactly the type of raves I had heard that made it so tempting. I love the idea of "calming" my skin and my skin to look refreshed in the morning. |

I was using RM every night for about 2 months. My skin was smoother, more even-toned for a while. But then I seemed to hit a plateau with the results and I stopped using it nightly. I didn't like the sponge applicator at all so I pulled it off and used a baby kabuki brush instead. I liked that application approach much better. I use it infrequently now on my chest area -- I like that it's skin color and goes on light and powdery -- I feel like I'm treating a problem area and it's not obvious since the powder blends well. |

On the Everyday Mineral's Blog, I read that they will be introducing a night formula to 'nurture your skin while you sleep'
This will more than likely be a bit more affordable than the rare minerals...a good way to test the waters, so to speak.

Oh goodie!!! Any idea when this is going to happen? I am still using Rare Minerals and I still like it though it's one of those frustrating products where I can't quite pinpoint WHY I like it or if it REALLY is doing something (though I think it is). I'd definitely try the Everyday Minerals version... |

for those of you using rare minerals, i was wondering what do you use to exfoliate and how often do you?
i was on rare minerals for about 6 weeks.. the first 4 were great but then when 6 came around my skin started looking worse so i stopped immediatly. thinking about starting again since theres still over half a pot left :/ |

I have no idea when EM will introduce their night formula, sorry. I just happened to see that they mentioned it in the blog the day I read this post. Drop her an email and ask about the ETA. |
