I got two generous samples of this product (directly from Cellular Skin RX's website) when I ordered the Vitamin C Serum. I am 56 years old with slightly oily skin that usually reacts negatively to moisturizers i.e. pimples, blackheads, even roughness. Because of the usual reactions to moisturizers, my skin often felt and looked dehydrated.

After two weeks of using the C and the Serum, I can boast a little about this wonderful product. I use it day and night over the C and it provides long lasting moisture - my skin look marvelous, glowing, and even toned. When I wake up in the morning, my face feels smooth and looks plump.

I have tried a gaggle of products over the years and as my skin has changed with age, I did not feel like I was addressing its needs. I also prefer not to spend hundreds of dollars on skin care because I'd rather spend my money on books, going out to eat, vacations, clothes, etc.

These two products, along with my Skin Medica cleanser, have given me some respite from the never ending chase for a skin care regime that is simple, cost effective, and one that provides results.

I hope this information is helpful to someone over 50. Cellular Skin Care RX has trial sizes and also a kit that contains the C, Serum and a Bio Lipid Cream for $21.

Hi maliktai, I have very much the same type skin as you, I'm 42, and I have been using this too with good results. What you said about "glowing"...is'nt it great! I was thrilled to find a product that my skin liked and did'nt freak out over in some way AND have great results with, a noticeble Difference in a rather short time.

I have not been happy with my skin for sooo long, when taking a quick glance in the mirror on my way out of the bathroom during the day,(REALLY quick glance as not to depress myself) I was so use to not being happy with the face looking back at me, I was actually taken by suprise for quite a while when the reflection was one of someone with decent skin LOL, it really was funny. Actually made me smile. Very Happy with this product too.

They have a couple new products coming out, can't wait to try them:)

this "skin medica" cleanser...I might like to try this, where can I find it? I use cetaphil now, which is okay but does'nt get my skin clean enough so I'm trying other things. everything seems to clog up pores and cause irritation.

Hi Allie Grace,

So nice to get feedback. I will say that the Skin Medica cleanser is, I think, too expensive. I bought samples from Skin Radiance Shoppe (generous size) at $1.50 each. I almost didn't try it because I thought if I really like it, am I williing to spend $25 for a cleanser. I have been using Olay's Daily Renewal Cleanser for a few years which sells for about $6. It is a perfectly good cleanser, not drying, rinses cleanly, and in short, does the job. Why is there always a lure to try something when what you have is working? Advertising, the quest for skin miracles, and on and on.

I am still considering whether to buy the Skin Medica at some point or continue with what I have. I have also used PSF's cleansing gel in the past and that works well. It is now at about $18 so that could be construed as a bargain, if I just want to justify yet another frivolous purchase.

Stay well.

I also am a fan of the Age Limit Advanced Refinishing Serum - I feel it has been one of the better AHA products for my skin. I do see a difference in terms of skin smoothness when I use it. Unfortunately the last bit of it that I had actually went off in some rather hight temperatures (and the serum kinda separated into an icky mess) but I do see myself repurchasing at some stage.
