Does anyone here do it? I'd like to get into the trend, for the sole reason of selling them and making some money for charity I just don't know where to begin and what to order online. |

Just go to craft store like Micheal's or Jo-Ann's. They have a ton of stuff for candle-making. |

It's fairly easy but time consuming and ADDICTING!!!
Now - having given that warning, lol. There are a million and 3 sites that have everything from tutorials to supplies to marketing. Google, google - lol.
I prefer 100% pure soy candles. They burn clean. Easy clean up too. If you're looking to move toward decorative v/s scent you'd probably want to try parrafin as it's a firmer wax to deal with, the soy doesn't really get as firm once set.

Yay you mentioned soy- which is exactly what I'm interested in. I wasn't sure if that was too specific or not, so I didn't mention it
Is there any particular site out there for buying products to make soy candles? A beginner is very much overwhelmed by all the options out there and I don't quite know where to begin. |

Oh Candy, can you provide a few good sites to begin with? I LOVE scented candles too and it'd be great if you add hand-crafted candles to your product line!! |

I Love soy candles! They don't seem to blacken up the jars, burn evenly, and keep the smell going strong. I am interested in candlemaking too, but have yet to actually begin the research/investment/implementation stages, lol. Good luck! |
