I wondered if anyone can recommend benefit cosmetics?

I can recommend *some* of their stuff. Eye Bright, Brow Zings, Dandelion (if you're pale)and It stick mainly. A lot of BeneFit products seem very gimmicky and I have some that I never got to work the way the "before and after" shots in their catalog advertise. What are you looking at getting?
Do a search for BeneFit and see what else comes up here. I'm pretty sure I have asked for recommendations a while ago when I was trying out this line.

I was just at their counter (The Bay, downtown Toronto), and finally got to play with some of their cute things that I've forever seen on-line or in their catalog. I like the packaging, but the only product that I bought was BeneTint, which was a request from a friend here. $40 (Canadian). I'm sure it's great, but knowing me, I'd probably spill the bottle!
I do own Dandelion, however, and received this as a gift last year. It's cute. I'm fair & rosy already, but this product is cool to use on eyes, nose, and cheeks. In fact, I am wearing it today |

I like benetint as a blusher a lot, in fact it is the only one I have ever used in my life! , but I appreciate the worry about spilling it and,(this is really gross) I'm shocked to discover that mine has gone MOULDY! I'm still using it off course waste not want not as my mum used to say and I really, really wanted this! |

I recently discovered Benefit Cosmetics and have ordered probably three quarters of their catalogue. I've become an addict which is totally out of character for me. I'm an old 60's hippie who never wore much makeup or even skin care until recently when I discovered this stuff. I used to use Lancome and for both skin care and make up the Benefit beats all...The eye con eye cream and Dear John moisturizers are amazing. My skin is changing, pores are smaller etc. Lemonaide eye concealer is amazing! Benetint blush looks absolutely natural. Bad gal Lash looks like natural false eye lashes. I could go on and on but check out their website but only if you're strong. I've become a total addict! |

I like (and would recommend) the eyebright, benetint and high beam. I tried the bad gal eyeliner and mascara but wasn't impressed. I have the body so fine, which is fab, and the jiggle gel (!) which I haven't tried yet. |

I really like Benetint... and also Dandelion and Georgia powder... all are very subtle but do make you look fresh. |

Dandelion is great for those days when you just feel blah and need something to counter the washed-out look. I don't have Georgia yet but that might be good for the summer. |

Benefit's Lyin' Eyes concealer works great for dark circles. I use it often, so I go through it pretty quickly. |

ps. for those who are fans of the Benetint. How does it work? Do you apply with your fingers? Is the color light/easy to control? It seems very intriguing, yet very messy.... |

Dandelion is great. Love it.
I don't like moon beam though. Didn't show up on my skin at all. |

hollywood glo made me break out, moon beam is a waste of money, better off with high beam as you can actually see a difference, get even is quite good, but they don't have a shade suitable for my skin tone. Have tried boo boo zap but didn't find it that effective.

benetint is quite easy to use, you just have to blend it quite fast as it gets absorbed pretty quickly, an can end up looking patchy. I use it before i apply my foundation, gives you a really natural look, otherwise can look too red on my skin.

Hi, I have tried a few things from the line, the only one I really liked was the Dandelion blush as well. |

I did try the Georgia powder and whilst it looked OK on my skin, I just thought it was no different than other standard powders, but packaged nicely. |

i bought benetint awhile ago because it was similar to another tint i had bought in germany.
i wasn't fond of the rose smell, but i love the liquid/stain type blushes.
however, i realized after a month or so that it was triggering migraines (the scent).
a plus for benefit--i went to the counter and asked them about it, and they're letting me exchange it!
so i would say go for it and give them a try. |

Hi!
Like MizSlick, I'm a new Benefit addict! So far, I've just gotten the Ooh La Lift, Eye Bright, High Brow (in retrospect, could've done fine using the E.B. under the brows for a "lift") and Lemon Aid. I was particularly drawn to their eye products because I don't really wear a lot of eye makeup...mainly because I'm totally inept with regards to doing all the cool "makeup artist tricks". So these simple-to-use products (and the 1000 Hours Lash Tint I learned about here on EDS!) are perfect for me! My eyes look great, and it takes me no more than a minute to get them that way...
I also LOVE the "Maybe Baby" scent...bummer is that it seems to disappear on me pretty quickly. But it sure smells nice while it lasts!
Next up, I am wanting to try either the High Beam or Moon Beam (I love highligting products and these look nice) and one of the blushes...Dandelion or Georgia, maybe.
Okay...so I guess you can tell I'm in love with this line!

I have tried Benefit's Hoola bronzer.. I really liked the color it gave me, but I wished it had come in more mobile-friendly packaging (it was in a box, rather than something like a compact). Hope this was helpful! |

Benetint is just great...my skin is oily so during the day normal powder blush seem to disapear but this one stay all day and it look fresh...I love it. Next time I go to Montreal I will stop by and try something new...its seem like a good brand of "skinhelpers" products. |

Have you tried using the maybe baby body lotion and then spraying the fragrance on top. Layering the products will make the scent last longer.

my all time favourite benefit product is their cheekies cream blush, really good creamy texture, natural finish and lasts all day. I just don't know whether they actually make it anymore, as they havn't had it here in aus for a while. When i found out they were discontinuing the product i bought up a whole heap, so that will last me a lifetime

Thanks, Oli! Great idea about the layering...I will give it a try, because I really do love this scent!
